Prepare Prepare Prepare

2 years back I used to be very proud of the fact that you could put me on any stage and I would deliver a powerful impromptu speech / presentation.

And now, for a 1 hour webinar, I make a script that goes on for at least 70 power-point slides.

This man changed me!

Let me share the story of a man who is living proof that sheer preparation is the key to success. I have been working with him as a Vice President in his company for 1 year now.

This man owns the world’s largest Youtube channel on entrepreneurship and business. He also runs a company with 10,000 direct and indirect people working with him across India. He is insanely ambitious, clear and focused. A man that always has exactly the same version of the story. A man that is so focused on his MEGs (most essential goals) that nothing can lure him off his ground. People have tried and tested.

I am talking about Dr Vivek Bindra, Founder and CEO, Bada Business. He is a motivational speaker of International repute. Possibly the only CEO with 5 Guinness World Records to his name.

Even to this day, this man, prepares for every webinar he does. He is absolutely the most prepared in the room. He states himself — that he might not be the smartest in the room, but he prepares so well, he puts in so much work that — he is able to hire the smartest to work with him.

Preparation is the key!

Dr Vivek Bindra says — I prepare so much because this is my respect for my customer’s time and money. I cannot even imagine giving the customer anything lesser.

I personally have seen Dr Bindra (VBS) as I call him, prepare for hours before delivering the final video.

So how should you prepare?

Its plan simple, old time — hard work!

Put in the hours to understand your customer’s burning problems. Do not propose a solution, till you are sure that you will resolve the burning problems. Be valuable. Respect the customer.
